We are looking for blogs to include in our network.
Christian Century would like to network with Christian bloggers. We are looking for blogs that:
- Are theological in nature, though we define that broadly.
- Are well written.
- Consist primarily of original material (As opposed to reviews and links to other sources.)
- Reflect a theology that fits our community. We're defining that as "progressive mainline."
- Have been around for at least six months or so.
- Post an average of at least once a week.
There are advantages to being a part of the CCblogs network.
- Your blog will immediately be a part of an Internet traffic stream. Hundreds of people start blogs every day, but how will readers find them?
- Your CCblog will be listed at ccblogs.org and the Christian Century's other sites. You will be a part of an online community. The CCblogs community will be a select group. You will have theological peers who will read your blog and interact with you at whatever level you desire.
- You won't be doing this alone. Steve Thorngate, the Century's Web editor, is committed to reading our blogs, interacting with our writers, and helping out with technical issues.
Submit an application to the Christian Century.
If you would like your blog to be in the CCblogs network, send an email to info@CCblogs.org. Tell us your blog address. We'll take a look to see if your blog fits well in our network.
The Christian Century is not responsible for the content of individual blogs. The CCblogs network is provided free of charge. The Christian Century reserves the right to remove from the network any blog that is deemed offensive or inappropriate.
